Malou Jacques

Malou Jacques is a medical doctor from the Catholic University of Louvain (UCL) and holds an MBA from New York University (NYU).
She has dedicated her career to the development of drugs for a variety of diseases, most recently ophthalmology.
She has always been passionate about education and improving the lives and well-being of people from all walks of life.
• In 2011, she began working for W!se, a non-profit organization that focuses on developing financial literacy and readiness for college and careers
• In 2021, she launched a blog with the purpose of inspiring people to overcome the challenges of everyday life.
• In 2024, initial steps were taken to create the “Christian and Marie-Louise Jacques Foundation for Education” (CMLJ Foundation for Education).
The primary aim of this foundation will be to promote education, particularly in the areas of health and well-being, leadership and management, economics and finance, business and key features of American culture.
W!se is an award-winning US non-profit organization whose mission is to develop and improve financial literacy and college and career readiness for young Americans and adults. Malou started her collaboration with W!se in 2011 by visiting schools in the New York area. She also served as a judge, and then lead judge, for the Euro Challenge competition, a program launched by W!se in 2006, designed to educate students about the workings and financial structure of the European Union, to further create a passion for global economics.
